A woman has been found dead with signs of violence in a home in Benahavís (Málaga), according to investigation sources who informed EFE, specifying that the victim initially has a stab wound to the neck.
The victim’s body was found this Tuesday morning, after a person reported that there might be a deceased woman in a home. The informant indicated that they had heard a very loud scream and that there was a lot of blood at the scene. Furthermore, they specified that a man had left the place in a car in a hurry.
A mobile ICU and Civil Guard agents immediately went to the scene and, upon entering the home, found a deceased woman who, in principle, had stab wounds to the neck. The agents cordoned off the area, and more personnel from the armed institute specialized in scientific and judicial matters were dispatched to the scene.
The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to try to determine the circumstances surrounding this event, and the judicial protocol has been activated, consisting of a duty judge, a lawyer from the Administration of Justice, and a forensic doctor, to proceed with the removal of the body.
The victim’s body will be transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) for an autopsy.
