The forest fire in Rubió (Anoia) affects 47 hectares of forest area, according to provisional data from the Agents Rurals, who indicate that the flames started in Castellfollit de Boix (Bages). The Bombers are working with 50 teams, 14 of which are aerial, on a fire that was detected around half past four on Tuesday afternoon in the area of the Can Massana hermitage.

The flames burn intensely in an unpopulated area and the potential for impact is large. The left flank is burning intensely, but priority is given to the right because it is the one that could be at greatest risk in case of a wind change, which is expected. Shortly before seven in the evening, the Bombers reported that the fire had ceased and was burning downhill.

Among the deployed devices is a large capacity plane from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (Miteco). In addition, Forest Defense Groups (ADF) and farmers with tractors are acting, working against the head of the fire.

Fire between Cunit and Cubelles
Protecció Civil ordered late Tuesday through an Es-Alert message the confinement of the La Costa Cunit and the jardins de Cunit urbanizations, in Cunit (Baix Penedès), and the Mas Trader urbanization of Cubelles (Garraf) following the vegetation fire in an urban area that was declared at half past seven in the evening in the area. At 21:18, the same body deactivated the confinement of the urbanizations after a vegetation fire was considered stabilized. The fire was located in an area also close to Castellet and la Gornal.
The Bombers have acted with ten teams, three of which are aerial. Protecció Civil asked to close doors and windows, avoid going out on the street, and follow the authorities’ instructions.
