“Career guidance can no longer be based on intuitions in a constantly changing market,” says Inés Temes, head of the Social Innovation, Employment, Education and Volunteering team at Fundación Telefónica, an entity that promotes ethical innovation with real impact on people. With OrientaHub, she points out, “we take a step forward: using data and AI to help people make decisions with real impact on their professional future.”

The tool will progressively integrate new analytical capabilities throughout 2026 that will allow detailing the skills required in the most demanded profiles and offer specific data on salary ranges and their evolution.

The program will also incorporate a predictive component designed to anticipate which skills will be requested in the medium and long term, thus facilitating informed decision-making in uncertain environments.

Partnerships for young talent

OrientaHub is aimed both at the population of young people between 16 and 29 years old, as well as expert profiles who develop their activity in the field of career guidance; in addition to public and private entities linked to the labor market.

This new initiative from Fundación Telefónica strengthens the entity’s educational ecosystem by integrating with Campus 42 to enhance learning in critical disciplines such as AI and cybersecurity. The project is also complemented by the Postgraduate Scholarship program launched in March, focusing on the specialization of young people up to 35 years old in the key technologies that are defining the European Digital Agenda.
