According to Moncloa, the President of the Government, under the provisions of article 203 of the Chamber’s regulations, has requested to appear before the plenary session of the Congress, “to report on the political situation related to the latest known judicial investigations, as well as the latest meeting of the European Council.”
Moncloa’s forecast is that the appearance of the President of the Government before the plenary session of the Congress will take place, in any case, after the next meeting of the European Council in Brussels, scheduled for June 18 and 19. Just the day before, on June 17, former President José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero will appear before the National Court, following his indictment for alleged corruption crimes.

A week later, Sánchez will preside over another crucial appointment on his imminent agenda, with the meeting of the PSOE federal committee, convened in Ferraz for June 27.
