“Dirty Sánchez is guilty of high treason,” the magnate wrote in a message published on the social network X, which Musk owns, in response to Sánchez’s statements at the closing of the progressive summit ‘Global Progressive Mobilisation’ that took place this Saturday in Barcelona and in which the president defended the regularization of half a million migrants promoted by his government and rejected by the opposition.

“I want to tell the right and the far-right who oppose it that Spain is a daughter of migration and will not be a mother of xenophobia,” Sánchez said.

Musk’s message came in response to a post in which another X user described Sánchez’s statements as “the greatest betrayal in European history.”

Musk has already lashed out at the Prime Minister on other occasions: “Of course, dirty Sánchez is a traitor to Spain,” the owner of ‘X’ criticized in February via a message on this social network in response to a thread of messages about the process of regularizing foreigners in Spain.

He also stated that “dirty Sánchez is a tyrant and traitor to the people of Spain,” when the president announced that he would ban social media for minors under 16 and would pursue digital platforms and their executives who did not remove “hateful and illegal” content.

This Sunday, Sánchez criticized “oligarchs” for playing with the mental and democratic health of citizens, especially the youngest, under the slogan ‘freedom of expression must be protected’.

“Under that guise that freedom of expression must be protected, what these technoligarchs are allowed to do is line their pockets at the expense of our young people’s mental health. It is not freedom of expression to manipulate images with artificial intelligence applications of girls and women to show them naked with images on social media. That is not freedom of expression, that is a violation of people’s rights and freedoms,” he pointed out at a PSOE event in Huelva.

In this regard, he added that it is also not freedom of expression to “denigrate and stigmatize” migrants who “honestly contribute to the prosperity and economic development of nations.”
