The judge of the National Court María Tardón has requested the investigation opened in an ordinary court regarding the Government delegate in Ceuta to incorporate it into the case she is leading for an alleged crime against the territorial integrity of Spain, among others, due to the massive entry of nearly 80,000 people from Morocco on July 30 and 31.

In an order, the magistrate states that she has become aware of the opening of proceedings in the courts of Ceuta regarding criminal conduct derived from the massive irregular entry of immigrants and claims her jurisdiction to be the one to instruct that matter.
Therefore, she requests the Ceuta court number 6 to assess whether it should refrain from its actions in favor of her Court “if these were behaviors included in the procedure being followed here.”
The Court of First Instance and Instruction number 6 of Ceuta has opened preliminary proceedings against the Government delegate in Ceuta, Miguel Ángel Pérez Triano, following a complaint by Manos Limpias.
It is claimed that the delegate would have been aware, through the National Intelligence Center (CNI), of possible approaches by immigrants and that, despite this, he would not have taken measures to prevent what is considered a crime against the independence and security of the State.

Precisely, last Friday the chief of staff of the Government delegate in the autonomous city, Gonzalo Sanz, resigned due to a discrepancy of versions about the avalanche warnings between him and the Government delegate.
In his resignation letter, he stated that the warning that a CNI agent sent him via WhatsApp the day before the massive crossing was indeed passed on to Pérez Triano himself, who denied to the media having been aware of these communications, known after the declassification of documents agreed by the Government.
The resignation letter comes after Tardón requested this documentation to incorporate it into the criminal case on the Ceuta crisis. Among the papers that came to light on Wednesday was a conversation on July 29, in which the CNI transmitted to the Government Delegation that on social networks there was “a call” for an “assault” by fence and sea on July 30 taking advantage of the Throne Festival in Morocco.
According to reports, this call was being organized in two different Facebook groups, with a total of 180,000 followers. “To give you an idea of the reach of the dissemination,” commented the CNI. That same day, at 21:34, an 11-minute conversation took place.
