This is an unexpected turn for a couple who sought to build a new life in the U.S., including a Netflix documentary, and who circumstances have distanced from their families. According to the Daily Mail, they are already staying as guests of a millionaire friend on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, where they lived between 2018 and 2019, Highgrove House is located, the second residence of King Charles III and with neighbors as illustrious as the Beckhams, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi and Liam Gallagher, from Oasis. The bucolic Cotswolds of England, a very affluent area northwest of London, are a very likely place to settle for a prolonged time. The couple knows the place, as they lived there for a short period between 2018 and 2019, and according to the local press, Harry and Meghan are considering a large mansion with an approximate price of 13.7 million euros. The obstacle is that some prominent names live there and their arrival would mean an extra media attention, believes Matt Sudlow, premium buying director at the real estate agency Stoneacre Advisors. Not least, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi: the couple has a mansion in Montecito, like the Sussexes, and a second residence in England. Also the Beckhams. Other options would be Wiltshire, Dorset, and Somerset, counties in southwest England. People magazine reports that they will maintain their home in Montecito (California, U.S.) and a vacation residence in Portugal.

Meghan moved in with him after their engagement and once married, they moved to a more spacious apartment in Kensington.

They paid for the renovations

After announcing they were stepping away from royal life – and from his family – Harry and Meghan moved to Canada, where they spent part of their time at Mille Fleurs, a remote seaside estate located on Vancouver Island.
