“I have already spoken with the club and we all have things to improve,” Casadó responded when asked if he was bothered by the decisions the Blaugrana entity made before his departure.
Casadó travels this Wednesday to A Coruña to join his new club, which has been one of the main movers in the market, with an economic investment close to 26 million euros to sign high-level players such as Spanish goalkeeper Leo Román (Mallorca), Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Olympique Marseille), and Uruguayan Giménez (Atlético de Madrid), among others.
Casadó, who ends his contract in June 2028, was not in coach Hansi Flick’s plans and, although the Blaugrana entity prioritized a sale for 30 million, the player leaned towards the Galician team’s project to continue his career in La Liga without completely severing ties with Barça. Casadó, who joined Barça in 2016 when he was 13 years old, has a contract until 2028.
