The Royal House has made an unprecedented gesture with Ceuta on the day of the autonomous city amid the very serious migration crisis it has been suffering since July 30. On its X account, the Zarzuela Palace has published an image of the flags of Ceuta, Spain, and the European Union in the audience hall of the State Headquarters.

The photograph is accompanied by a message of support for the city in which the Crown calls for unity and coexistence: “Today, September 2, is Ceuta Day. The Crown and everyone, with our city. Unity, coexistence, and future.”
