North Korea’s state television, KCTV, has broadcast footage of a large tourist complex in the country filled with people enjoying huge pools and water slides, amid a severe heat wave that has already caused at least 16 deaths in the South.

In the footage, released on Sunday, thousands of people can be seen swimming or playing in the water. Also, the video shows the beaches that are part of the complex, located in the coastal area of Wonsan Kalma and with a capacity for 20,000 guests.
