After the three chants of the runners to the saint, the herd left the Santo Domingo corrals led by the steers, followed by five black bulls and closed by a red bull. The Jandilla bulls had a clean encounter with the runners and ran the first stretch of the run at high speed along the Cuesta de Santo Domingo, advancing while looking to the sides but without charging at the runners. Halfway down this street, a black bull took command of the herd.

The most dangerous moments occurred in the Plaza Consistorial stretch, where that same bull charged at the runners who were behind the fence on the right side of the route, and one of them received a goring wound on the thigh. This bull followed the trail of his brothers and in Mercaderes knocked down and ran over one of the runners.

The herd, after passing cleanly through the Mercaderes curve, headed down Estafeta grouped, led by two steers and in the center of the street. The group of Jandillas gradually stretched out in this stretch, which allowed the runners to find more gaps to run in front of their horns.

Further along Estafeta, the red bull slipped and fell to the ground, becoming somewhat separated from his brothers. The herd reached the Telefónica stretch split, with two steers in front followed by four fierce black bulls, another bull a few meters away, and closed by the red bull. In this stretch, the second goring of the run was recorded when a runner suffered a horn wound on the chest.

Three black bulls entered the bullring at the front along with several steers, and their three brothers entered shortly after. The herd, split in two, entered the pens after one of the bulls gored a third runner. The Jandillas will be fought this afternoon in the Pamplona Monumental by the bullfighters Juan Ortega, Andrés Roca Rey, and Tomás Rufo.
