A Ukrainian drone attack caused the death of at least five people in various parts of Russia and hit industrial facilities, as well as another warehouse belonging to Wildberries, the Russian e-commerce giant.

As part of Ukraine’s campaign against Wildberries, Ukrainian drones attacked a company warehouse in the Samara region, about 800 kilometers (500 miles) from the Russian-Ukrainian border, according to local governor Viacheslav Fedorishchev.
The official indicated that a fire broke out, but there were no casualties. Kyiv’s campaign against Wildberries initially affected the company’s facilities in Elektrostal — east of Moscow — and in the Tambov region on July 18.
Subsequently, attacks were recorded against facilities in western and southern Russia, as well as in Crimea, a territory under Russian control. At least nine people have died and dozens have been injured.
Both cities have been frequent targets of Ukrainian attacks in recent years. Engels hosts a military air base, while Saratov has a large oil refinery.

Ukraine has attacked more than a dozen Wildberries warehouses, the Russian Amazon
Wildberries, Russia’s largest online sales platform, is often described as the Russian equivalent of Amazon. In less than two weeks, Ukraine has attacked more than a dozen warehouses of this company as part of a Kyiv air campaign aimed at undermining Moscow’s war effort, damaging its economy, and making the population feel the consequences of the Kremlin’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Russian air defenses shot down 635 Ukrainian drones overnight, including those flying over occupied Crimea and the Black and Azov seas, according to the Ministry of Defense in Moscow. The ministry did not specify how many were launched or how many reached their targets.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Sunday that its forces had attacked infrastructure and two ships carrying military cargo in the Ukrainian port of Mykolaiv, as well as a ship transporting military supplies in the Black Sea.

Meanwhile, Russia attacked Ukraine with 133 drones overnight, 24 of which hit their targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. Later on Sunday, separate Russian attacks on the Ukrainian cities of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv caused the death of at least two people, according to local authorities.
