The United States has used marine drones in combat for the first time to attack a submarine and vessel maintenance center in Iran, in a new episode of the military escalation between the two countries.
According to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), the operation targeted a maintenance center located at the Bandar Abbas Naval Base, one of Iran’s main military ports.
The images released by CENTCOM show the use of unmanned surface vehicles, a technology that, according to the U.S. command, has been used for the first time in a combat operation.
