A car ended up embedded in the Begoña metro station after a collision with another vehicle on La Castellana. Two people were injured, one with serious prognosis and the other with minor injuries, following a traffic accident on the Paseo de la Castellana in the early hours of this Monday. The embedded car and another vehicle collided, and upon losing control, one of them ended up on the stairs of the Begoña metro station, according to Emergencias Madrid.

Madrid Firefighters responded to the scene to rescue the two occupants of the affected vehicle, Emergencias Madrid reported in a post on the social network X.
La Paz staff assisted in the rescue
SAMUR-Protección Civil personnel treated the victims for multiple traumas and, together with La Paz staff, were responsible for transporting the two injured to the hospital.

After assisting the affected individuals, the firefighters proceeded to remove the vehicle from the subway access and to clean the affected area. The Madrid Police took charge of the investigation to clarify the causes of the accident.
