Bombers de la Generalitat is working with seventeen units on a fire in an industrial warehouse in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Barcelona), which has forced the evacuation of all personnel, although no injuries have been reported, and which is causing a large column of smoke visible throughout the area.
The fire originated shortly before 3 p.m. this Friday in an industrial warehouse dedicated to the automotive sector located in the Torre del Rector industrial estate, in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, very close to the AP-7 highway, according to sources from Bombers de la Generalitat informed EFE.
Firefighters are working on extinguishing the fire from the outside, as the interior is completely affected, as well as the building’s roof. Firefighters are also trying to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent warehouses.

The 112 emergency phone received the alert for this fire at 2:58 p.m. Initially, Bombers de la Generalitat activated fourteen units, which was later expanded to seventeen.
As a result of this industrial fire, the municipality has put its Unique Civil Protection Document (DUPROCIM) on alert, which integrates all action plans and risks into a single document, according to Civil Protection of the Generalitat.
