Well, in this uncertain context that we have to live in, with wars that do not stop, climate crises that threaten us, AI technologies that can replace us, and with immigration that arrives and we must know how to integrate well, life is still something wonderful if we know how to make the most of it. And today is surely the most beautiful day of the year for all of us who can enjoy Sant Jordi, the great day of the book and the rose.

It’s about each of us in our own bubble being able to isolate ourselves from all the problems that cloud our minds and relax with the pleasure of strolling through streets full of books, roses and, above all, good humor. Sometimes childish controversies and useless debates arise that lead nowhere. The Sant Jordi festival belongs to no one, no group, no nation, much less a political party. It belongs to everyone. And everyone celebrates it in their own way.

In La Vanguardia we celebrated April 23rd with another big party at the Alma hotel for the thirteenth consecutive year. It has become the great gateway to Sant Jordi, with a celebration that brought together half a thousand guests related to the world of publishing yesterday.
