For the second consecutive year, Barcelona’s League celebration ended at PortAventura. After Wednesday night’s dinner in Castelldefels, this Thursday, after the morning training, a large expedition of the squad led by Hansi Flick arrived at the famous theme park just after 6:15 p.m. to enjoy a few hours of leisure, once it was closed to the general public.

Gavi, Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí, Gerard Martín, or the youth players Xavi Espart and Álvaro Cortés, among others, were able to ride practically all the park’s iconic attractions – Dragon Khan, Shambhala, Hurakan Condor, or Furius Baco – except the water rides and the Stampida roller coaster, which was closed.

The coaching staff, except Flick and Marcus Sorg who stayed in Barcelona, also attended, along with family and friends of the players. The day will end at the same facilities with a dinner to close the second season with the League in the bag.

Beyond the team dinner and PortAventura, there will be some final moments of leisure. The podcast Barça Reservat, from Catalunya Ràdio, explained that practically all the first team and Barça Atlètic players have requested tickets to attend Bad Bunny’s concert in Barcelona this Friday.

The concert promises a duration of between two and three hours: from 8:00 p.m., the scheduled start time, until 11:00 p.m., the deadline Flick set for his team to rest.

The reserve team has already finished the season, but the first team players attending the concert will have to travel afterwards to Valencia. There is one last match on Saturday at Mestalla to put an end to the season before the players go to rest or prepare for the World Cup.

Flick could introduce numerous rotations in the starting eleven without the injured Fermín López and Lamine Yamal. On the other hand, players who were carrying discomfort such as De Jong, Ferran Torres, or Marcus Rashford have recovered and will be available for the last League match.
