Meghan and Emilio are a North American couple from Chicago who decided to get married in Cunit. On September 6, a break-in inside a vehicle parked on the street in Barcelona caused very important wedding materials to disappear, such as the wedding dress, the groom’s suit, and the rings. But that same Sunday the Mossos d’Esquadra managed to recover everything stolen and the wedding was able to take place, three days later, without any problems.
According to sources from the Mossos d’Esquadra, on that September 6 a patrol decided to go to a difficult-to-access path located near the Carrefour in the town of El Prat de Llobregat. They were aware that this place, remote yet well connected with several roads and close to the airport, was used as a point where thieves choose interesting material after committing thefts. They go there, open the bags, and what they are not interested in they leave in the same place.

The Mossos d’Esquadra have opened an investigation to arrest the thieves

The Mossos inspected the material left in the area, discovering many objects related to the celebration of a wedding. The value of everything found amounts to approximately 9,000 euros.
