The two young women, one of them a minor, who appear in the sexually explicit videos illegally distributed that have put Real Madrid defender Raúl Asencio and his former teammates Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodríguez, and Andrés García on trial, confirmed this Thursday to the judge that they have forgiven the four involved.

The forgiveness that the victims of the case formalized before the Criminal Court number 5 of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at the start of the trial enables the Prosecutor’s Office to withdraw the accusation it makes against the four for crimes of revealing secrets (distributing intimate content images without permission).

However, it does not annul the charges of child pornography also brought against Ruiz, Rodríguez, and García (not against Asencio) for having recorded a sexual video with a minor (one of the girls was 16 years old when the events occurred, in 2023), a type of crime in which the victim’s forgiveness does not extinguish responsibility.
