It is likely that we have gone from a clumsy way of managing politics –you know, computers smashed with hammers, surely Villarejo does not lie to me, the plumber, Koldos and Torrentes– to a stage where one no longer even knows how to lie. Neither good nor bad. Simply lie. It is the “Chao, pescao, how annoying you are with the attic thing” or “the CNI told me, didn’t tell me, told me quietly” or “that alerts for torrential rains are sometimes yes, sometimes no.”
The current industry of hate requires neither deception nor arguments to convince
Lying means knowing where the truth is and trying to hide, devalue, overcome it. One lies for fun, to get something, or to get out of a tight spot. The lie must have a logical structure that leads the one being lied to believe in a truth that is not such. But if already in all the previous stages to the deception there is neither intelligence nor sense of reality, the lie is one thing and the opposite, absurdity with no other intention than to waste time and jump to the next puddle.

To hate you do not need the lie to be believable. The current industry of hate with all its technological power requires neither deception nor arguments to convince. Like the biblical Samson, blind and tied to the columns of the Temple, Yahweh –the vengeful, the ruthless– grants him to regain the strength that allows him to bring down the temple and die himself in exchange for all those inside doing the same. Hate wants authoritarian states –tigers, lions, satraps, tsars, and dictators– and for the multilateral, consensus-based, and plural world to be crushed once and for all.
